Silent Soul

In stillness, she speaks. Silent Soul captures the quiet intensity of a woman lost in the music — eyes closed, expression suspended between sorrow and transcendence. Deep shadow frames her face as warm light traces the curves of her features, evoking the sacred hush between notes in a late-night jazz set.

This piece is part of the O'Bannon Portraits Collection — a series celebrating the women who shaped jazz culture from stage and behind the scenes.

Silent Soul is available in 4 editions — each a different way to own and experience this work. Whether you're a first-time collector or a serious art investor, there's an edition for you.

How your print is made

Nothing sits in a warehouse. When you order, your print is produced on archival fine art paper or gallery canvas, then sent to my studio in DeSoto, Texas. I sign it, number it by hand, and pack it with the card that lets you watch the painting move.

That takes about two to three weeks. It is slower than a poster, and that is the point — you are getting a numbered print from a finite edition, signed by the person who painted it.

Paper prints ship rolled in a protective tube. Free shipping within the US.
